about

The Medusa Cascade is a fictional space anomaly from the BBC series, Doctor Who. According to the Doctor Who wiki, it is a rift in time and space first visited by the Doctor at age 90, and later sealed by him.

Medusa Cascade was composed at the request of the UK-based group, Womb. The only stipulation they gave was that the track should be less than five minutes long. The samples used in its construction were: a high treble sound, provided by Tim Downey; a sample of my chair squeaking; a slinky spring; my voice through a voice changer; and a vibrating light toy. All the sounds, apart from the first, were created and recorded by myself. All sound editing and sequencing was done by myself.
